Beijing
Arrive, settle in, exhale.
Begin with an easy arrival day. An airport transfer and hotel check-in assistance can be included in your proposal. Leave the rest of the day for rest or a short neighbourhood walk.
10 DAYS / 9 NIGHTS · A PRIVATE CHINA JOURNEY
Beijing → Xi’an → Shanghai
The Great Wall. An army of clay. A riverfront looking to tomorrow. A considered first journey through three very different faces of China.

Begin with this outline, then adjust it together. Walking intensity, interests, accommodation and transport choices all shape your final proposal.
THE DAYS, IN A LITTLE MORE DETAIL
Beijing
Begin with an easy arrival day. An airport transfer and hotel check-in assistance can be included in your proposal. Leave the rest of the day for rest or a short neighbourhood walk.
Beijing
Explore the Forbidden City and take in its rooftops from Jingshan Park. Allow time for lunch and a gentle evening, rather than filling every hour. The order of visits depends on reservations.
Beijing
Head to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall. Discuss walking distance, steps and any cable-car preferences when planning. Return to Beijing with the evening free for your own discoveries.
Beijing
Visit the Temple of Heaven, then explore the hutongs at a pace that suits you. A local food experience or a quieter café stop can shape the afternoon.
Beijing → Xi’an
Travel to Xi’an by high-speed rail, with station transfers included if requested. Keep the arrival evening light: settle into your hotel and take a short walk or try local noodles.
Xi’an
Spend the main part of the day discovering the Terracotta Army. Allow time for the detail and context, with a relaxed return to the city. Any additional stop can be discussed rather than assumed.
Xi’an
Explore the city wall and old-city streets. A walk or bicycle experience can be considered according to your comfort, weather and site conditions. Leave room for a Shaanxi food experience.
Xi’an → Shanghai
A domestic flight is the suggested connection for this outline; the transport plan is confirmed in your quote. After checking in, a gentle Bund walk offers a first glimpse of Shanghai.
Shanghai
Discover Yu Garden and the old city, then spend time in tree-lined neighbourhood streets or a gallery. Tell us whether you prefer architecture, food, shopping or contemporary culture.
Shanghai
Enjoy any free time your departure schedule allows. An airport transfer can be arranged as part of the confirmed plan. Add nights in Shanghai or an extension to Suzhou or Hangzhou if you would like to stay longer.
This is a suggested itinerary, not a confirmed reservation. The final sequence, tickets, guides and transport are agreed according to your dates and availability. Walking on the Great Wall and city walls can involve steps and uneven surfaces; tell us about your preferred walking intensity before a plan is confirmed.
